Bonnie Blair is one of the most decorated athletes in Winter Olympic history, having won five gold medals and one bronze across four Olympic Games. She made history as the first American woman to win five golds in the Winter Games and was the first woman to win the 500-meter gold at three consecutive Olympics.
Off the ice, Bonnie is a dedicated leader in the sports community, serving as the Director of Community Engagement for The DASH Project, which supports speed skating and Wisconsin’s athletic heritage. A member of the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, she remains active as a motivational speaker and philanthropist. Bonnie resides in Wisconsin with her husband, fellow Olympian Dave Cruikshank, and their two children.
